Yes, you can also recharge the power bank with your own power source, which is why it is possible to keep it for up to 24 hours with a maximum charge of 3€ and to purchase it for prolonged use over 120 hours (5 days).

POWERPILL charging stations can be found all over Italy: into bars, restaurants, hotels, gyms, petrol stations, hotels, airports, train and underground stations, universities, etc. All POWERPILL charging stations can be found through our application, we will drive you to the nearest station. Alternatively, look for our POWERPILL stickers outside the participating shops or you can ask the staff if they have a POWERPILL station.

If you want to remove your credit card details from the app, follow this procedure: Click on “Wallet”, click on the cross on the top of the card you wish to delete from the app and click on “Delete”. In this way your data will be deleted from our database.

If your usage exceeds your balance, your card will be charged the additional cost you incurred. For example, if you have 2.00€ on your account but use a battery for 12 hours, you will be charged 3€ and your balance will drop to -1€ on the app. The first time you top up the app, this negative amount will be equalised.

After a refund has been approved by a support team member the amount will be credited to your account after 2-3 working days.

To top up your credit, go to “My account” (top left when you open the POWERPILL application), click on “Top up” to add money to your account.

It is currently not possible to book a POWERPILL battery.

If the station is empty, search the POWERPILL application to find the nearest charging station where you can rent a battery.

If the station is full, search the POWERPILL App to find the nearest charging station where you can return it. If you have problems or are unable for various reasons, know that after the first 3 hours and up to 24 hours the rate remains fixed at 3€ so you can calmly look for a deposit point.

The POWERPILL charging station will never release a battery unless it is over 70% charged. If you release a battery with insufficient charge, please contact a member of the Powerpill Team.

At the moment it is possible to rent only 1 POWERPILL battery at a time. We will update this feature shortly to allow more than 1 rental and also the possibility to rent a battery for a friend.

To rent a POWERPILL battery you must first charge a credit/debit/ prepaid card to authorize your identity and if the battery is not returned within 120 hours (5 days) an amount of 30€ will be charged. At that point the power bank will be considered “purchased”.

Our battery is only splash-proof and therefore not completely waterproof. If you drop the battery in the water please contact a member of the Powerpill Team.

The POWERPILL battery can only charge one device at a time. If you rent one battery you can use it with as many devices as you want, but they must be connected at different times.

Unfortunately no, our service can only be used by electronic payment, using an appropriate debit or credit card.

Our POWERPILL batteries are equipped with fast-charge technology that allows you to fully charge most phones in about one hour. The exact time required depends on which phone and model you have.

Yes, it can! The POWERPILL battery can charge any device using the Lightning cable (iPhone, iPad, iPod), Micro USB (Android phones, camcorders, GoPro, wireless headphones etc.) or USB-C (newer Android phones).

A POWERPILL battery contains 5000mAh of charge. Depending on the phone model you have, you should be able to get up to 2 full charges.

If there are no batteries available at the chosen station, you can find the other nearest station via the App. There should always be 2 or 3 battery stations within a short distance of each other!

When returning a battery, be sure to push the top of the battery so that it locks securely. Check that the App completes the time count and closes the procedure. If the battery locks into place, but the App cannot close the counting process, please contact a member of the Powerpill Team.

You will be charged the daily rate of 3€ for 72 hours (5 days). After 120 hours you will be charged 30€ and the battery will be considered purchased and will be yours.

The rental of a POWERPILL battery costs 1€ for the first hour. This is added up to 3 hours of use, so maximum 3€. Until the expiry of the first 24 hours you will have no further charges. This amount, equal to the daily rate, will be repeated for a maximum of 5 days.

On the side of the battery there are three light indicators that indicate the state of charge: 1 light = 33%, 2 lights = 66%, 3 lights = 100%.

The POWERPILL battery is like a common power bank and you can use the supplied cables connected to the battery. For iOS devices, USB-C and Micro USB, disconnect the cable and connect it to the device.

You must first download the POWERPILL application via the App Store or Google Play Store. Once the account has been created you can locate POWERPILL stations in the area. After matching a payment method or after transferring an appropriate amount to the App deposit account, simply scanning the QR code on the side of the station will automatically release a charged battery to use.

Yes, to make the device available to you, POWERPILL requires a credit of at least 5€.
