It depends on the station: many are free (you only pay if you don't return the powerbank in time). At paid stations the rate is €1 per hour, with a daily cap of €3. The cost is always shown in the app before you start, with no surprises. With the subscription (coming soon) rentals will be free.

You can pay with a credit or debit card (just add it once) or with the balance of your rechargeable in-app wallet. At the station you can also rent on the spot by tapping your card on the built-in contactless POS, without the app. When you rent, a small pre-authorisation is placed and, on return, you are only charged for your actual usage time. Card payments are handled securely by Stripe.

At any Powerpill station, not only where you picked it up. Open the app, find the most convenient station on the map and slot the powerbank into a free bay: the rental closes automatically.

Every powerbank has three built-in cables: USB-C, Lightning and Micro-USB, so you can charge your smartphone, wireless earbuds, e-cigarette and any device without needing your own cable.

When you rent, a small amount is pre-authorised on your card (as a deposit, €15) that is never charged if you return the powerbank within the set time. With the wallet, the amount is deducted from your balance and refunded on return.

The app always shows you the nearest stations with free bays, so you quickly find somewhere to return it. Make sure the app confirms the return before you walk away.

After 45 hours from the start of the rental, the powerbank is considered not returned and the deposit amount (€15) is charged as a penalty for failure to return it.

The powerbanks have a capacity of 5000 mAh. Charging time varies depending on the device you connect.
